  The Olympic games are very famous throughout the world because of its serenity and peacefulness. The history of Olympic  flashes back to more than 1500 years. Many centuries ago Olympic games were held in Green in honors of the Greek God Zeus. The sacred month of the games as considered is the time for harmony and friendship. The festival lasted for five days and become an expression of the Greek idea that '' a man's body should be just as fit and healthy as his mind.....'' The winners received many prizes of which the most treasured was a wreath of Olive leaves. Those days it was a great honour to win the prize. Only Greeks were permitted to take part in those games.
